Relaxing Retreat in a Rural Setting
HaBayit BaGalil (also known as Domain Galil) was built as the owner's private estate and retreat for entertaining personal friends and celebrities. The home occupies 30 dunam of rich and inviting Galilian woods in the heart of Biria forest, between Rosh Pina and Safed.

It took 13 years to create this unusual haven. No cost was spared. The building has been hailed in architectural journals and is acclaimed as one of the most beautifully designed buildings in Israel.

HaBayit BaGalil resort offers the following luxurious facilities: 37" LCD TV in each room King-size bed mini-bar in each room private Jacuzzi in each bath heated outdoor pool dry and wet saunas fitness room (currently closed for construction) outdoor Jacuzzi sweet table open all day professional health and body treatments finest quality oils and beauty care products wireless internet access in the resort lobby and outdoor patios.

This adult spa welcomes guests over the age of 16 yrs. The resort asks that guests not use cell phones in public areas. There is no-smoking in the building.

Getting There: View and print the driving instructions and (treasure-hunt) map supplied by the resort. We advise that you take this trip in daylight, especially the first time.

The Spa: The resort spa offers a wide variety of treatments. Click here for the list of treatments available. Treatments should be reserved at least one week in advance. Two recommended treatments are the Hot Stone massage and Ayurveda Indian massage.

Dining: Breakfast and dinner are included in your half-board stay. Breakfast is served from 8:00am - 10:00am and dinner is served from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The dinner menu includes meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian options.

Touring the Area: HaBayit BaGalil is an excellent base for visiting the many attractions and historic sites in the area of Safed and Rosh Pina. Ask at the reception desk about guided tours with a car and a driver. Tours include the synagogues of Safed, the Safed artist colony, the Amuka forest, the graves of Tzadikim, and other sites in the area.

Payment and Cancellation Policy: When you book through eLuna.com you are not charged till you arrive at the resort. Reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to 5 days before your visit. An incremental charge is incurred for cancellations within the 5-day period. Spa treatments must be cancelled separately at least 6 hours in advance.

We would just like to thank you for arranging our visit to Bayit B'Galil. We went on an overnite that was so wonderful, we can't wait to return. The grounds are breathtaking, the hotel beautiful, the rooms are terrific, food delicious -- and, most of all, the staff was fabulous with the aim to please. Even two minor "inconveniences" were quickly taken care of and we were offered generous replacements. We thank you for a fabulous get-away.

We have been very happy with our stay. The atmosphere is great (far less pretentious than [other spa resort]) and everything is gorgeous. The food is excellent, all tasty and nicely served. It is not the best for someone looking to be entertained all day. There are massages and the fitness room is now renovated, but off-season they don't have classes or activities like [other spa resort]. For us it has been absolutely delightful and I would recommend it without hesitation.
